Business Application Analyst
This role works closely with other business analysts and operational subject matter experts. It requires a moderate understanding of financial management, enterprise resource planning, human resource management, and timekeeping/scheduling systems. Collaborates with functional teams such as Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Supply Chain, and Information Technology. The Business Application Analyst is part of a centralized, enterprise-wide business applications team responsible for overall functional support and configuration of applications in their area(s) of accountability. Essential functions include: Individual contributor with team collaboration Participates in implementation of application modules; configures low to medium complexity applications Manages simple projects utilizing standard business process design, testing, and deployment Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to system functionality, providing timely and effective support to functional end users Conducts routine system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance Collaborates with Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, and other teams to identify and implement system improvements and enhancements Supports minor configuration and process builds Facilitates training sessions for operation trainers on system related functionality Creates and maintains system documentation and user guides Provides day-to-day operational maintenance and support to functional business areas Participates in process consultations Consults and actively works with business areas and project teams to assess needs for the various business functions Executes on system and process solutions Responsible for testing including but not limited to patch or service pack testing, defect research, general testing, and deployment support Skills include: Proficient knowledge of financial management, enterprise resource planning, human resource management, or timekeeping/scheduling systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Job specific details include: This position is 100% fully remote with the rare/occasional in person meetings There is an after hour on call support that rotates through the team We are committed to offering flexible work options where approved and stated in the job posting We are currently not considering candidates who reside or plan to reside in the following states: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington Minimum qualifications include: Demonstrates knowledge of financial management, enterprise resource planning, human resource management, or timekeeping/scheduling systems 2+ years of experience working in a Business or Applications Analyst role Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 3-5 years of experience working with Workday ERP, UKG Workforce Pro, or Strata Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools Understanding of business and healthcare operations Physical requirements include: Location: Employee Service Center Work City: Murray Work State: Utah Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
