Inventory Planning Clerk 1/ Pharmacy Warehouse Technician

The Inventory Planning Clerk 1/ Pharmacy Warehouse Technician ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. They assist the pharmacy through filling orders and supplying correct pharmacy supplies for individual patient orders. They coordinate all supplies recall activities and assure compliance with FDA and company policies for same if applicable. They maintain inventory of supplies and reorder them accordingly. They ensure that Pharmacy Warehouse is in optimal condition at all times, according to State, Federal, and Accreditation Standards, and is stocked to handle packing, pulling, and dispatching appropriately. They process purchase orders if required. They maintain inventory as required by the manager and company inventory control. They perform equipment maintenance and record keeping activities in accordance with company policies. They are responsible to meet company, patient and contractual obligations. They review shipping notices/invoices for accuracy. They perform warehouse receiving/distribution activities. They route deliveries, as appropriate, to promote time and manpower efficiencies and keep records of all routing. They perform vehicle maintenance to assure compliance with manufacturer's and company fleet management specifications. They deliver equipment in the absence of service technician. They monitor personnel and vehicle records and maintain in accordance with DOT guidelines. They establish preventive maintenance programs for all equipment lines, which comply with manufacturers' guidelines and company policy. They orient and evaluate all subordinate employees to their job responsibilities and provide ongoing in-service as required. They participate in company's performance activities. They perform all aspects of client care in an environment that optimizes client safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. They perform on-call activities as required. They answer phone calls promptly and provide patients or nurses with all necessary support to take care of their supplies and delivery needs. Use your skills to make an impact. Professional Requirements: Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean. Wears appropriate clothing for job functions. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Maintains regulatory requirements. Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time. Wears identification while on duty, uses computerized punch time system correctly. Attends annual review and department in services, as scheduled. Attends staff meetings, reads and returns all monthly staff meeting minutes. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices. Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department. Regulatory Requirements: General knowledge in equipment and supply procurement. Appropriate driver's licenses required for the position. Language and Other Skills, Physical Demands Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Basic computer knowledge. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
