Murex Business Analyst .
The ideal candidate possesses a robust Front to Back-office & technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and
familiarity with Fixed Income
(Repo and Bonds), Treasury, and Credit business.
Responsibilities:
Provide the business with
software applications , including making recommendations on booking
models , product onboarding, and modeling into
Murex .
Analyze,
problem-solve , and escalate issues, collaborating closely with different teams.
Conduct regular
training
and skills assessments for peers.
Ensure
compliance
with branch rules and regulations.
Lead development projects, focusing on
innovative
solutions, new business opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
Identify
opportunities
for operational
risk reduction .
Provide timely
progress updates
to management as required.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of the US
Power and Gas Markets , including the trade lifecycle of physically settled trades.
Extensive experience working with
Murex
as a Business Analyst/Developer.
Ability to navigate Murex, set up
booking models , and introduce new products.
Proficiency in
Murex architecture
to propose solutions.
Knowledge of
Curve setup
and static data setup in MXG.
Understanding of risk and valuations within Murex.
Excellent
communication skills , both business-oriented and technical.
Experience interfacing with senior stakeholders in
Front Office
and control functions such as Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Operations.
Prior experience onboarding commodities products in Murex, especially Gas and Power in the UK, EU, and/or US markets.
