Title: Director of Operations Program: Administration Supervisor: President & CEO Status: Full-time Exempt (35 hours per week) Location: Rochester, NY. Hybrid eligible Salary: $60,500-$75,000 based on experience General Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the President & CEO, and in conformance with the Personnel Policies and Procedures established by the Center for Dispute Settlement’s Board of Directors, the Director of Operations provides leadership for the administration of agency operations. Operations Coordinate with the agency’s outsource accounting firm to ensure that they complete our financial processes according to required timelines Maintain agency insurance contracts, office space and equipment leases, maintenance requests, vendor agreements, purchasing procedures, and other operational requirements Coordinate with the agency’s information technology provider regarding purchasing of equipment, software updates, file sharing, data management, and staff technology trainings Maintain up-to-date inventory of all agency property Support management of grants/contracts, including timely vouchering and reporting Staff the Board of Directors’ Internal Affairs Committee Participate in agency processes including budgeting, strategic planning, and policy updates Human Resources Coordinate job postings, recruitment, and hiring of staff in collaboration with County Directors Maintain up-to-date files for staff, including performance evaluations and exit interviews Create policies and procedures to remain legally compliant with State and Federal employment laws as well as New York State mediator regulations Maintain and update relevant documentation, including: Employee Handbook, Case Manager Handbook, Mediator Handbook, and Administration Handbook Coordinate with agency brokers to provide employee benefits Update staff pay rates and participate in promotion reviews Provide support for employee relations issues Conduct investigations in cases of legal violations, harassment, or grievance filings Other Provide supervision and evaluation of staff, volunteers, and contractors in area of responsibility Establish annual goals in accordance with the agency’s strategic plan and funder requirements Develop and maintain contracts for agency consultants Manage agency donor database Maintain the agency’s annual calendar of trainings and presentations Assist the President/CEO in negotiating terms and preparing new service contracts Update the agency fee-for-service schedule annually Provide support for agency events, trainings, and outreach activities Obtain and maintain mediator certification Participate in staff meetings, retreats, and other activities Required Qualifications

Educational background and five years of work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to indicate ability to perform the job.
