CNC Programmer / Machinist

We're hiring a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join a growing team in Melrose Park, IL. If you live in Mastercam, know your way around 3, 4, and 5-axis machines, and like seeing your programs come to life on the floor, this one's for you. What You’ll Be Doing: Programming in Mastercam for 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills (Haas VF5 with a trunnion) Some simultaneous 5-axis work—experience here is a big plus Short-run production—60% of your time will be on the floor running what you programmed Collaborating with a tight-knit team that values quality and precision Machines You'll Work With: Haas VF5 with 3+2 trunnion Mazak CNC lathes with Mazatrol (live tooling, long part support) Opportunities to touch both mill and lathe work if desired What We’re Looking For: Strong Mastercam skills (must-have) Solid understanding of setups and machining strategy Experience with Mazatrol is a big bonus, especially on lathes with live tooling Able to work independently, troubleshoot, and take pride in quality work Schedule & Pay: Day shift: 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM start time Occasional night shift opportunities available Pay is negotiable based on experience 50–55 hours/week during peak seasons (spring/fall) Benefits: Medical, dental, vision 401(k) PTO and school reimbursement programs
