Performs all aspects of echocardiography exam with consistent high level of quality Performs administrative tasks to contribute to the successful operation of the department. Follows established guidelines for cleaning, storing & disinfecting equipment per Manufacturer, ODH, IAC and JCAHO standards. Demonstrates leadership behaviors and excels in training, leading and motivating other staff. Participates in research activities Additional Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an Accredited Program (Required) Work Experience
5+ years experience in pediatric echo (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Extensive knowledge of cardiac pathology (Required proficiency) Demonstrated competence with all aspects of pediatric echo studies (Required proficiency) Ability to use all types of echo machines; basic computer skills; good communication skills (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS)
(Required) Adult and Pediatric RDCS or RCS and RCCS required
(Required) Physical Demands
