Title:Hematologist/Oncologist
Full Job Description Role Description:This is a full-time, on-site role for a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist located in the Miami Fort Lauderdale Area, FL . The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of hematologic disorders and cancers , including anemia, clotting disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, interpreting lab and imaging results, prescribing chemotherapy and other cancer treatments, developing personalized treatment plans, and staying current with advancements in oncology and hematology through ongoing research and continuing education. The physician will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Call Schedule: One in four weekends, phone coverage only
Setting: Outpatient-focused, with minimal hospital involvement
Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
Medical degree (MD or DO) and valid, unrestricted Florida medical license
Clinical expertise in managing both solid tumors and blood disorders
Knowledge of current protocols in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
Strong diagnostic, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
Research experience in oncology or hematology is a plus
