Senior Data Engineer
We are seeking a senior data engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft's data ecosystem to design, build, and optimize enterprise data solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning complex data into actionable insights by leveraging Azure Data Services, Power BI, DAX, and Microsoft Fabric. What you'll do includes designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes within Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics. You'll architect and optimize data models to support reporting and self-service analytics. Develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, using DAX to create calculated measures and complex business logic. Leverage Microsoft Fabric to unify data sources, streamline analytics, and support business intelligence initiatives. Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all pipelines and reporting layers. Collaborate with analysts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver clean, actionable datasets. Monitor and optimize performance of data workflows to ensure scalability and reliability. Provide mentorship on BI best practices, data modeling, and efficient DAX usage. What we're looking for includes 7+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics engineering. Strong experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, SQL Database). Proven expertise in Power BI development, including DAX for advanced calculations. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric in designing and deploying data solutions. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and cloud-based data platforms. Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and security best practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business impact. Preferred skills include experience with Python or R for data transformations and advanced analytics. Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps practices for CI/CD and infrastructure automation. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate. Why join us?
