Job Description Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Mammography Technologist Specialty: Mammography Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 8 hours, Days, Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience preferred as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist. Six months of experience in an outpatient environment preferred. License: Medical Radiographer - CA (MRAD:CA) Certifications: Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M) Must-Have: Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography, 3D mammography experience, and 8 hours of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) training.
Description: The position involves working in a clinical setting. A high school diploma or GED is required. Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program or an equivalent program is necessary. Candidates must possess the required licenses and certifications. Experience in mammography technology is essential for the role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skill and attention to detail. The role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are important.
