General Production Worker
As a General Production Worker, you are responsible for setting up and calibrating rolling mills, operating equipment to shape and thin various metal alloys, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Your role involves feeding raw materials into machines, handling finished products, and using precision tools like micrometers and calipers for measurement. You will continuously monitor machine operations, address any issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent quality. Additionally, you will inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and perform basic preventative maintenance on machines. Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate rolling mills for production. Operate equipment to roll metal alloys into specific shapes and thicknesses. Feed raw materials into machines and handle finished products. Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for precision checks. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments for quality control. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform basic preventative maintenance, including changing rolls and cleaning equipment. Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude for understanding machine operations. Attention to detail to ensure product quality and accuracy. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy weights. Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues. Effective communication skills to work with team members and follow instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machine operation or rolling is preferred. High school diploma or GED is typically required.
