Systems Administrator
We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux and Windows based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a background in Linux systems, scripting, and automation, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Essential Functions: Assist end users with classified Linux/Windows desktop and server issues Deploy and relocate EIT computing assets as required to support the DoD programs business strategy Install/integrate complex software and hardware on Linux/Windows as required to support the DoD programs Provide 1st level support for L3Harris approved Linux, Devops, Windows, and client and server applications Must have active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 35 pounds across campus for various needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Current/Active Secret Security Clearance Preferred Additional Skills: Experience supporting RedHat 8, 9, Netapps, CommVault, and VMWare Tools Experience with the Risk Management Framework process under DAAPM, DISA STIGs Microsoft Windows Server 2012,2019, Windows 10, 11 Able to effectively communicate to the DoD engineering/program community.
