Job Summary: BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity. They are seeking a Database Engineer 2 to monitor databases and related systems, support agile activities, model data, and collaborate with developers to enhance application features. Responsibilities: Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance. Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes. Model data to design local schemas, tables, data types, indexes, procedures and functions Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of Database experience Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB, Including: deployment and management of the database itself, debugging of optimization issues, scaling Preferred: AWS, C2S or other cloud experience Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and/or XML serialization Experience working in Agile environment Company: BigBear.ai's mission is to deliver clarity for the world's most complex decisions.
