Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Location: Albuquerque, NMShift & Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | 36 guaranteed hours per week | On-call, weekends, and holidays required | Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles as needed | 13-week contract (possible extension to 24 weeks based on facility needs)Job Summary: Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients requiring diagnostic testing, treatment, and/or ventilatory support. Deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, and timely care across adult critical care, progressive care, med-surg, and general pediatric patient populations. Assess, implement, evaluate, and document respiratory care treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Administer medications, manage ventilators, and monitor patient responses according to protocols. Adapt to varied assignments and fluctuating staffing needs in a fast-paced environment.Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in adult critical care, progressive care, medical surgical care, and general pediatrics. Strong adaptability, teamwork, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.Preferred Skills & Experience: EPIC EMR experience preferred (onsite training available).Education Requirements: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care required.Licenses & Certifications: Active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC. BLS certification required (AHA, American Health & Safety Institute, or American Red Cross). ACLS certification required (AHA, American Health & Safety Institute, or American Red Cross).
