Quality Technician/CMM Programmer

In this position, you will take on the role of a CMM Programmer, providing essential support for in-process and final inspection, as well as first-piece verification for parts and products. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring quality through the use of microscopes, mechanical inspection tools, and working within a clean room environment. You will utilize software such as Calypso and PC-DMIS on our CMM machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CMM machines using Calypso and PC-DMIS software.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality.
  • Perform first-piece inspection for parts and products.
  • Use microscopes (10x-50x) and mechanical inspection tools such as gage pins and thread plugs.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in CMM programming with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in quality control and quality inspection processes.
  • Familiarity with GD&T for at least 1 year.
  • Competence in using micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience working with tight tolerance metal products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a clean room environment is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
