Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Profession: RN

Experience: Minimum 2 Years in a Hospital Setting
License: Active Compact License Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
Must-Have:
Previous 2 years of Emergency Department Experience
Description:
Travel RN for Emergency Department from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Two years of experience in a hospital setting is required.
An active compact license is required upon application submission.
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications are required.
The unit has a total of 11 beds.
There are 16 staff members on the unit.
Staff includes 2 RNs for Day Shift, 1 RN for Mid Shift, and 2 RNs for Night Shift.
Patient ratios vary depending on the time of day.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.
Ideal candidates are independent, autonomous, critical thinkers, and adaptable.
Strong clinical and relational attributes are essential to support optimal patient care.
Experience in a free-standing emergency department environment is preferred.
Certifications such as CEN, CPEN, and TCRN are a plus.
Every other weekend shift is required with no on-call requirement.
Dress code consists of navy blue scrubs.
