Journeyman Plumber
As a Journeyman Plumber, your duties will include installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems and plumbing fixtures. You will inspect connections and other parts for leaks, replace defective pipes, and solder or caulk leaks and broken pipes. You will also cut, bend, and thread pipes, fitting valves, and couplings to pipe sections by screwing, bolting, or soldering. Additionally, you will repair autoclaves and other sterilizing equipment, hot water units, and gas heaters, ensuring their safe operation. Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain piping systems and plumbing fixtures. Inspect connections and other parts for leaks and replace defective pipes. Cut, bend, and thread pipes, fitting valves, and couplings to pipe sections. Repair autoclaves and other sterilizing equipment, hot water units, and gas heaters. Assist in estimating and maintaining required time and material records for each job. Utilize PPE and protect job sites from sewer line discharge and spillage. Perform other duties as assigned, including plumbing systems, electrical systems, and control systems tasks. Essential Skills
Proficiency in plumbing, facilities maintenance, and installation. Ability to unclog sinks, drains, and toilets. Experience in pipe fitting, PVC work, and blueprint reading. Skills in soldering, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electrical systems installation, testing, maintenance, and diagnosis. Knowledge of control systems, including sensors, limit switches, solenoids, and motors. Why Work Here?
