Machine Operators On 1st Shift
The role involves ensuring the quality of the product being sliced and packaged meets production standards and quality. You will be responsible for removing products by hand from the conveyor belt to place them in packaging, boxing packaged material according to customer specifications, and repackaging when needed. Additionally, you will cut and peel casing from salami, rotate into any line position as needed, and tend the production line by watching for equipment malfunctions or product defects. Responsibilities
Ensure quality of product being sliced and packaged meets production standards. Remove product by hand from conveyor belt to place in packaging. Box packaged material according to customer specifications. Stock boxes or repackage when needed. Cut and peel casing from salami. Rotate into any line position as needed. Tend production line by watching for equipment malfunctions or product defects. Identify and communicate problems and production issues in a timely manner to supervisors. Enter downtime into RedZone. Assist the supervisor with all functions and duties of assigned production lines. Assist the supervisor with assigned line setup, breakdown, and operation. Handle assigned raw materials to produce on assigned production lines. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP training, along with company pre-requisite programs, SOPs, and SSOPs. Follow company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times. Work Environment
You will be working in a food manufacturing environment where the production floor is refrigerated to low 40 degrees. It is essential to be comfortable with the salami smell. You will be required to wear a smock coat and hair net, which will be provided at the client site. The floor is wet, so non-slip or steel-toe shoes are required. Enjoy a lively atmosphere as most areas will play music throughout the day. Hours:
6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday +OT on Saturdays) Job Type & Location
