1st Shift Cnc Lathe Machinist - Weekly Pay
This position will be responsible for helping to produce high-quality manufactured products used all over the world. The successful candidate will set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections on products. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Operate machines to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls as required. Verify conformance of finished workpieces using measuring and inspection tools. Set up and operate machines to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Essential Skills
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency. Exhibit strong organizational, planning, and prioritization ability. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills. Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Prior machining experience. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
