As a Security Professional in Brunswick, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling access points, conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the aerospace and defense location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment. Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing temporary credentials as needed. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
