Field Technician

A Field Technician specializing in diesel mechanics and hydraulics is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and construction machinery. The role combines expertise in diesel mechanics with hydraulic maintenance, focusing on the upkeep and repair of heavy equipment. Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic equipment. Conduct field visits for emergency repairs. Run diagnostic tests and interpret results to offer suitable solutions. Repair or replace vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts. Perform welding or fabrication tasks as necessary. Proficiency in diesel mechanics and hydraulics. Ability to troubleshoot diesel engines and heavy equipment. Experience with hydraulic blueprints and diesel engines (CAT or equivalent). Basic electrical knowledge. Must be able to read hydraulic blueprints. Must have diesel engine experience. Possession of basic tools such as wrenches and sockets. Monday - Friday 7AM - 4:30PM Must be open to travel in field role as will have access to company credit card and vehicle. Field Autonomy: Work independently and take ownership of your repairs.
