Industrial Painter
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Industrial Painter to prepare, paint, and finish a variety of industrial equipment, machinery, and structures. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for surface preparation, applying protective coatings, and ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company and customer specifications. Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, or blasting. Mix, match, and apply primers, sealants, and topcoats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Operate industrial painting equipment such as airless sprayers, HVLP sprayers, or electrostatic systems. Follow work orders, blueprints, and safety data sheets to ensure proper coating application. Inspect finished surfaces to verify quality, thickness, and even coverage. Maintain and clean painting tools, spray guns, and work areas. Adhere to OSHA, company, and industry safety standards, including proper use of PPE and respirators. Handle and dispose of paints, thinners, and chemicals according to environmental and safety guidelines. Work independently or as part of a team to meet production schedules and deadlines. Work Experience: Surface Preparation
cleaning, sanding, grinding, or blasting surfaces to ensure proper adhesion. Knowledge of Coatings
understanding primers, sealants, epoxies, enamels, and specialized industrial paints. Spray Painting
using airless sprayers, electrostatic equipment, or HVLP sprayers for large surfaces. Mixing & Matching Paints
measuring and mixing coatings to required specifications. Application Techniques
brushing, rolling, or spraying based on surface and paint type. Specialized training and knowledge of coatings, equipment (spray guns, airless sprayers, etc.), and surface prep techniques.
