Join our Global Supply Management team as a Portfolio Program Manager for the Cost Excellence Ideation Team, where you will play a critical role in developing material cost savings strategies and opportunities across Medtronic's $6bn of annual material spend. As the Portfolio Program Manager-Cost Savings, you will be supporting the Cardiovascular portfolio to: Develop and implement a comprehensive material cost management strategy for targeted value streams. Lead cross-functional ideation events to identify opportunities for savings. Collaborate with the evaluation team to develop and review project business cases. Partner with Operating Units and Operations Innovation organizations on value stream, VAVE, and design for value events. Prioritize and bundle a pipeline of opportunities to ensure balanced delivery across savings levers for sustainable success and help Medtronic reach its goal of $300M in annual material cost savings. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present updates to senior leadership. Create & improve business processes, systems, & tools; deploying solutions across team and partner functions. Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5 years' strategic business or sourcing support experience, or a master's degree with 3 years of strategic business or sourcing support experience. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Ability to manage priorities across a diverse portfolio of products and spend. Experience with supplier bid analysis, supplier selection for medical devices, or make vs buy analysis. Understanding of Cardiovascular products & portfolio. Proficiency in analytics, particularly with Power BI and Planisware. High degree of business acumen and financial insight. Experience leading cost savings to achieve measurable savings goals. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders. Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. PR) locations (USD): $110,400.00 - $165,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
