Senior Applications Engineer
Position Overview
IAS is an independent control systems integrator requiring design engineers to be independently responsible for their everyday schedule and project timeline. This individual will be required to interface directly with the customer in regards to overall project design/scheduling and to have extensive knowledge of control systems design, PLC/PAC programming, and HMI/SCADA systems application development. Other requirements include knowledge of software products such as MS Office and AutoCad. This individual is required to have visualization and/or serialization experience in a pharmaceutical environment. Refer to Essential Job Functions below for additional requirements. This individual should remain open minded when it comes to the latest in automation solutions and from time-to-time will be required to travel overnight for training or customer onsite commissioning.
Essential Job Functions Visualization and/or Serialization in a Pharmaceutical environment required! Control panel design per NFPA 79 and UL508A standards. Development of wiring schematics and BOM's using AutoCad. Extensive knowledge of Allen-Bradley automation products. Extensive knowledge of Rockwell Automation ControlLogix programming software products. Extensive knowledge of Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk ME/SE HMI/SCADA systems application development software products. Knowledge of Company automation products. Knowledge of Company S7 programming software products. Knowledge of Company S7 HMI/SCADA application development software products. Excellent customer communication skills. Good computer skills with Microsoft products. Other Skills/Abilities (optional) Basic knowledge of Fanuc Robot programming and systems design Basic knowledge of various manufactures VFD's including communications and setup.
