We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Tactical Data Link (TDL) Engineer to support our USAF contract on Robbins AFB, GA. This project is in support of the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA. Senior Tactical Data Link (TDL) Engineers play crucial roles in the development, integration, and maintenance of advanced military technologies. Responsibilities: System Evaluation and Planning: Assess current systems and plan large-scale system projects, including the purchasing, installation, and support of network communications. Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of Tactical Data Links, including Link 16, Link 22, TTNT, SADL, MADL, IFDL, and SATCOM, as well as familiarity with standards like MIL-STD 6016, MIL-STD 6020, MIL-STD 3011, MIL-STD 2025, and STANAG 4175. Project Coordination: Develop plans, coordinate work teams, and provide technical support to project team members, ensuring successful project execution. System Integration Support: Assist in the integration and evaluation of software related to new capabilities or functions within TDL systems. Requirements: Secret security clearance BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited school Minimum 15 years' experience with Tactical Data Links with at least one of the following: Link 16, Link 22, TTNT, SADL, MADL, IFDL, SATCOM Familiarity with MIL-STD 6016, MIL-STD 6020, MIL-STD 3011, MIL-STD 2025, STANAG 4175 AND Minimum 8 years software development experience in one or more of the following areas: Fortran, C++, C#, VHDL, FPGA Development, Green Hills, VxWorks OR Minimum 8 years in one or more of the following areas: Operation and test of datalink systems/equipment/protocols to include Link 16, TTNT, J series messages, Variable Message Format (VMF), and Cursor on Target Systems (CoT) and various other joint and coalition capabilities. Proficient/familiar with various radios to include: MIDS terminals, PRC-161, PRC-117F/G, PRC-152, PRC-163, PRC-160, SADL radios Schedule: Facilities are open 6am-6pm - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4/10 or 9/80) Why ASRC?
