Accountant Position In Visalia, California
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Visalia, California. This is a long-term contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial operations and accounting practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting essential accounting functions. Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries to support financial reporting requirements. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements. Process journal entries and verify their accuracy to maintain the integrity of financial data. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline accounting workflows. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review. Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. Ensure proper documentation and organization of all financial records. Requirements: Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Proficiency in processing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ability to analyze financial data and generate accurate reports. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments. Familiarity with accounting software and tools. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
