Tool Room Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated Tool Room Attendant to manage and maintain the accountability of tools and equipment in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient tool operations and support related logistics and inventory control processes. Responsibilities

Maintain accountability of tooling in the assigned area. Ensure proper check-in/check-out of tools and equipment. Monitor the calibration status of tools and assist the Calibration Coordinator. Issue common stock hardware and assist the Warehouse Supervisor. Perform end-of-day inventory to verify all tools have been turned in. Maintain tools in a serviceable condition and acquire tool servicing and replacement as necessary. Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, and equipment. Keep records of tools issued to and returned by workers; search for lost or misplaced tools. Prepare periodic inventory or maintain a perpetual inventory and requisition stock as needed. Unpack and store new equipment; visually inspect tools or measure with micrometer for wear or defects. Report damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors. Coat tools with grease or other preservatives as needed and attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment. Essential Skills

3 years of related experience in supply/logistics required. Computer skills required, including basic MS Office or ERP systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Tool Room experience preferred, but experience in logistics, supply, or inventory control will be considered. Forklift experience preferred but not required. Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Guntersville, Alabama. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
