The Executive Assistant will work closely with top-level Executives. This is an opportunity to work alongside individuals driven by excellence and a passion for technology. The ideal candidate is a team player with exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and creative problem-solving abilities. This role supports General Partners and requires juggling multiple responsibilities while prioritizing effectively. Daily tasks include calendar management, coordinating meetings, travel and logistics, and prioritizing across multiple leaders. We seek someone with strong experience supporting executive teams in fast-paced environments, with the ability to handle sensitive information with excellent judgment, diplomacy, and discretion. This role requires regular in-office presence in our San Francisco Bay Area, CA offices. To join our team, you should be excited to:

Build and cultivate long-term relationships Handle highly confidential information and documents with discretion and confidentiality Manage and maintain multiple executive calendars, including recurring meetings, prioritizing appropriately and offering solutions to complex scheduling needs Coordinate meetings such as Board meetings, executive off-sites, and staff meetings, including attendee communications, catering, and materials Proactively manage communication and respond to urgent inquiries from internal/external stakeholders Process and track expenses for executives Operate with exceptional attention to detail, anticipating changes or shifts in priorities Provide data management support, including organizing presentations, tracking deliverables, and suggesting process improvements Minimum Requirements

5+ years supporting multiple senior executives A strong team player who thrives in collaborative, matrixed environments Proactive, positive, personable, with excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude Resilient, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines Discretion, diplomacy, and excellent judgment with sensitive information Exceptional attention to detail Strong calendar management and prioritization skills Proficiency with Gmail, Google Calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom Comfortable working independently in a semi-remote setting Low ego, high empathy, and effective collaboration skills The anticipated salary range is $147,000-$165,000, with actual pay depending on experience, skills, and scope. The role is eligible for participation in the a16z carry program, discretionary bonuses, and benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K, vacation, and sick leave. a16z Culture
