HYBRID - 4 DAYS PER WEEK ONSITE IN WASHINGTON, DC (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) Job Description Business Analyst The Business Analyst will lead functional/business and data analysis. The ideal candidate should have experience in documenting business requirements, data mapping, and functional specifications. The candidate will work with various teams, support functions, and vendors, being proactive and focused on team and individual tasks. They should also foster innovation and have strong business acumen, especially in building value streams based on data, analytics, and insights. Responsibilities Analysis and Documentation:

Analyze current country sovereign risk and portfolio management processes. Document business requirements and translate into technical specs. Review existing data sources, reports, tools, and data loading processes; document data specifications and mappings. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.

Design and Development:

Create report/dashboard mock-ups, document data sources, transformations, and formulas. Work with IT teams to implement data and reporting solutions.

Testing and Validation:

Develop test plans and cases; ensure solutions meet requirements. Validate data and report accuracy; resolve issues as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Communicate with finance, risk management, and IT teams. Provide project updates; facilitate workshops and meetings. Serve as primary contact for offshore and onsite teams.

Training and Support:

Create training materials and conduct user training. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting.

Required Skills/Experience Extensive experience in business analysis, data analysis, and documentation of requirements and data mappings. Excellent communication skills; knowledge of Dremio and Power BI is a plus. Technologies: SQL, Oracle, Azure Data Lake, Python (preferred). Business domain expertise in Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Financial Risk Management, or Finance/Accounting. Experience: 6 to 7+ years.
