Job Summary The Sr. Solutions Architect – Services Presales plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, shaping our service offerings, and collaborating with clients to design tailored solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Google Cloud, coupled with strong client-facing and presales skills. This individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities, crafting service solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes. This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management. Role Description Design, develop, and position services-focused solutions for public and hybrid cloud. (primarily Google Cloud)

Collaborate with sales teams to identify client challenges and align services to meet their needs

Lead workshops and discovery sessions to understand client objectives, assess environments, and recommend service solutions

Develop service offerings that encompass implementation, migration, optimization, field, and managed services

Lead the development of SOWs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectives

Create compelling presentations and supporting materials that articulate the value of SHIs service solutions

Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to refine and enhance service positioning

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on modern cloud strategies and service adoption

Collaborate with internal delivery and 3rd party services providers to bring the right delivery experts to engagements to ensure seamless and successful execution of services

Drive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offerings

Engage with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and client success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement

Contribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth and leading innovation initiatives

Create and maintain practice standards and practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention

Provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and SHI teams on best practices, trends, and innovations in technology

Other Requirements Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience

7+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering

7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure

10+ years of experience designing, implementing and integrating technology solutions

10+ years of experience working with and migrating technology solutions

5+ years of experience with Google Cloud

Willingness to travel occasionally

Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on services sales, delivery, and revenue growth in Professional Services

Proven experience selling large complex professional services projects to enterprise customers

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud such as configuration, architecting, migration planning, and execution

Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible or Jenkins

Experience with Google data and AI technologies such as BigQuery, AgentSpace, Vertex AI

Experience with Google application and platform technologies such as Apigee

Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Tanzu, Rancher, Nomad

Experience working within Agile DevOps frameworks

Certifications Google Certified Architect – Professional

certification is required to be obtained within the first 90 days in the role.

Additional cloud technology certifications relevant to the domains described above are preferred.

The base salary for this position is $140,000 - $200,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $170,000 - $250,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
