Program Overview Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period. About The Role Peraton requires Network Architects to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The Network Architect will serve as a strategic enabler within the Service Modernization and Automation team, supporting the Enterprise Operations Support organization. Responsibilities include architecting enterprise network solutions, leading transformation initiatives, conducting assessments, integrating modernization efforts, collaborating with leadership, supporting implementation of automation tools, and ensuring network resilience and scalability. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Min 16 years with HS degree, 14 years with AS/AA degree, 12 years with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, 7 years with a PHD DoD TS/SCI clearance DoD 8570 IAT II Certification CCNA and CCNP certifications Experience in enterprise network solutions, modernization, and automation Knowledge of network design, transformation, and cross-domain integration Familiarity with ITSM, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity standards Desired Qualifications: Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, cloud networking, hybrid infrastructure Proficiency in automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform) CCIE or equivalent certification Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows Support for modernization across cyber, cloud, virtualization, and service domains Expertise in enterprise automation and mission transformation Experience with encryption environments and network availability Compensation Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000.
