Job Summary: Oversee daily snack and meal program operations while supervising cafeteria activities in a high-energy manner.

Weekly Hours &

Schedule : Part-time, 35 hours per week Monday through Friday 11:30am-6:30pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage snack and meal program execution, including food preparation, member supervision, and data collection. Manage the ordering of food resources, both locally and through established sources (GFS, Cultivate Food Rescue, etc.). Ensure timely data and document submission. Implement and lead Kids in the Kitchen food programming and cooking classes for members Supervise cafeteria and kitchen cleaning, maintenance, and periodic deep cleaning. Prepare meals for Club events. Maintain scratch cooking with fresh ingredients when possible. Participate in professional development and adhere to organizational policies. Uphold youth development strategies, accountability, and ethical behavior. Foster positive relationships with parents and act as a Club advocate. Perform assigned administrative tasks. Assist staff as required.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred in culinary arts, food sciences, or related field. Three or more years of food-related experience. Expertise in youth nutrition and meal program supervision. Proficient in managing staff, volunteers, and paperwork. Knowledgeable about state compliance and data management. Strong reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills. Customer service-oriented with computer proficiency. Reliable transportation, safe driving record, active drivers license, and automobile insurance is preferred Position may require standing/sitting for extended periods of time, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending at the waist, and ability to lift, carry, pull or otherwise move objects up to 20lbs.
