Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or as needed, on-call rotation required. Pays:
$66,372.80 annually DOE. Location:
28 Rockwell Street, Dorchester, MA - Travel to all Safe Haven Sites required. Summary of the Position: The Program Manager at Safe Haven oversees the management of three Safe Haven programs at 414 Harrison Avenue (10 beds), 8 Church Street (10 beds), and 28 Rockwell Street (11 beds), utilizing a Safe Haven Stabilization model. Responsible for supervising two direct reports, creating a respectful environment that empowers chronically mentally ill participants to reach their highest functioning levels. The role involves managing a 24/7 staffed program licensed and funded by the Department of Mental Health, providing clinical and administrative supervision, and advocating for participants' mental health needs. The Program Manager coordinates with various departments and outside agencies, develops policies, and ensures program goals of housing stability and psychosocial rehabilitation are met. Key qualities include flexibility, teamwork, independence, tact, diplomacy, and creative problem-solving. The individual must possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be capable of policy development and implementation.
