A law firm seeks a talented
Construction Litigation Attorney
to join its growing team in Fort Lauderdale. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with at least three years of experience in construction law to manage high-stakes litigation and work with industry leaders. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to the firm's continued success and expand its dynamic construction litigation practice. The firm offers a collaborative environment and provides strong support for professional development. Duties:
Handle a wide variety of construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, construction defect claims, and lien enforcement. Provide expert legal counsel to clients, developing case strategies tailored to achieve optimal outcomes. Work closely with other attorneys and legal support staff to deliver high-quality and efficient legal services. Represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions. Foster and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service. Participate in business development efforts with support from in-house teams, contributing to the firm's growth. Requirements:
3+ years of experience in construction litigation, with hands-on experience managing litigation cases from start to finish. Strong knowledge of Florida's construction laws and regulations. Proven ability to analyze legal issues, conduct thorough research, and draft legal documents. A commitment to superior client service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for professional growth and team development. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work well under pressure. Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications:
Admission to the Florida State Bar in good standing is required. Skills:
Advanced knowledge of construction law, including dispute resolution and lien enforcement. Strong analytical, writing, and research skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
