Job Overview The VP of Finance is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial statements, reports, forecasts, and analysis to Regional, Division management, Corporate office, and Joint Venture partners. This role involves performing accounting services, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal reporting requirements, and overseeing the operations of the Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Budget Departments. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with Lennar policies and review with executive staff. Manage JV accounting, compliance, and financial reporting packages. Ensure division compliance with corporate policies, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and JV operating agreements. Meet reporting deadlines outlined on the corporate calendar. Develop annual financial plans and updates; prepare monthly forecasts and updates. Lead the division’s asset-light strategy and act as a strategic partner to the Division President to implement core strategies. Drive corporate initiatives and new implementations within the division. Train, mentor, and develop direct reports. Evaluate new opportunities and provide input on purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, and management agreements. Assist in preparing and presenting quarterly operational reviews. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Extensive experience in Accounting or Finance, with relevant Homebuilding experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; JDEdwards experience desirable. Valid driver’s license. Strong analytical, communication, supervisory skills, and a high sense of urgency.
