Informatica Architect II
Location
– Torrance, CA (Hybrid of 4 days/week onsite along with 1 day/week remote) Contract Duration –
September 2025 – March 31, 2026, with strong possibility of an extension Travel –
10% yearly (travel expenses will be reimbursable)
This Architect will be focusing on performing the following duties:
Implement Cloud Data Catalog, Data Quality, and Metadata ingestion. Build Catalog & Quality reports for domain/sub-domain level data governance & quality metrics. Develop and demonstrate Data Governance dashboards for different personas such as Data Owner, Data Steward, Data Engineer, Data Privacy Officer, etc. Work with Business and IT teams, including Business Data Owners, Data Stewards, Technical Data Stewards, Catalog Architects, Platform Owners, and Project/Product Managers. Responsibilities will include the following:
Setting up, and running Informatica CDGC Catalog, Dashboards, Scanners, and running profiling and sampling. Performing PII Classification, Informatica CLAIRE, Gen AI-based auto classification, etc.. Supporting compliance inquiries and produce audit reports to satisfy SOX, CCPA, and legal requirements. Defining, operationalize, and support governance councils' & steering councils' operations using Data Catalog tools and processes. Required Skills and Expertise
Strong experience with tools such as Erwin, Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ), Glue Data Catalog, etc. Experience working with business intelligence tools and technologies such as Informatica, Power BI, and Tableau. Hands-on experience with data modeling, metadata management, data mining, large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis Strong understanding of entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, data security, quality tools, and techniques. Ability to guide solution design and architecture to meet business needs. Proven ability to design traditional/relational and modern big-data architecture based on business needs. Knowledgeable, go-getter, self-driven individual with a strong sense of ownership. Team player/collaborator who builds relationships with customers and team members, earns their trust, and creates influence to meet tactical or strategic objectives. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate and excel in complex, cross-functional teams involving data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders. Familiarity with Collibra and Alation.
