Job Summary Job Description Provide technical leadership in designing and developing software and web applications using Python. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub. Perform application monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. Set up and maintain cloud environments using AWS services like EC2, IAM, S3, EMR, VPC, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Manage software infrastructure using Salt, Ansible, and Terraform. Work with databases including MongoDB and YugabyteDB. Support and customize applications under development, assist with updates and releases. Analyze, test, and assist with integration of new applications. Document all development activities and write technical documentation. Research and evaluate competitive applications and current practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and conduct integration analysis. Work with QA to ensure applications meet specifications. Mentor junior engineers. This position offers remote work options one or more days per week, in accordance with company policy. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Five (5) years of experience with Python development. Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub. Experience with application monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. At least three (3) years setting up and maintaining AWS cloud environments. Experience managing infrastructure with Salt, Ansible, or Terraform.
