Software Engineer – (Hybrid-Remote) – McLean, VA; position requires a TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph, Immediate Hire

Synertex LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to support a U.S. Federal Government Agency in McLean, VA / Pentagon.

We are expanding our current contract and need a Software Engineer with experience in both front-end and back-end development to provide innovative solutions to our client's requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of open-source data development tools and processes.

This is a hybrid remote position with some on-site requirements, so candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance to McLean, VA or the Pentagon.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a software platform to facilitate rapid decision-making and increased situational awareness across various users, disciplines, and locations.
  • Build robust, maintainable, well-documented, and well-tested enterprise applications.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, including managers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and developers.
  • Develop, integrate, and operationalize full-stack analytic web applications through the ATO process on classified networks.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in web application development using Python and Django.
  • Experience with Docker / Docker Compose.
  • Knowledge of classified government networks and AWS services including RDS Aurora, ECS / EKS, VPC, ALB.
  • Linux / UNIX expertise.
  • Familiarity with Government ATO application compliance, approval, and deployment processes.
  • Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph clearance.
