Senior Software Engineer in the CNO domain , you'll lead the design, development, and integration of advanced data collection, analysis, and presentation tools. This is more than software engineering-it's about understanding mission workflows, collaborating with stakeholders, and applying AI/ML-driven innovation to solve real-world challenges in national security. inception through delivery -breaking down problems, designing solutions, and developing, deploying, and maintaining
full-stack data analysis applications . Partnering directly with mission stakeholders to
elicit requirements
and design solutions that address analyst and operator needs. Developing
Python-based tools
that automate data collection, processing, and presentation. Working with
HTTP-based APIs
and mission data platforms to extract and transform key insights. Collaborating with other software engineers to test workflows, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions. Presenting analysis results to customers, ensuring tools align with operational needs. Overcoming inevitable technical and mission obstacles with creativity and persistence. Minimum Qualifications Clearance:
Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active - we cannot sponsor clearances). Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. Citizen (we cannot sponsor visas). Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with
12+ years of software engineering experience . OR 16+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Required Skills Proven experience with
production-grade Python development . Background in the
CNO domain , with hands-on experience developing mission-focused tools. Strong understanding of
HTTP-based APIs
and how to leverage them for data access and integration. Practical experience with platforms for processing
Agency data sets . Experience using
Git
for source control and the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence). Demonstrated ability to
present results
and interact with mission stakeholders to refine requirements. Desired Qualifications Experience leading
development teams
and mentoring other engineers. Practical experience in
artificial intelligence domains
(intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs). Knowledge of
end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems . Experience with
production CNO capabilities and operations . Familiarity with
cloud technologies
(AWS, Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with
web application and UI development . Compensation Range: $199,000.00 - $262,000.00
