Job Description American Traveler seeks a Cardiac Sonographer with at least one year of experience in adult and pediatric echo procedures for a travel assignment covering both weekday shifts and on-call in MN/WI.

Responsibilities Work in an echocardiography lab setting with primary location in Mankato and possible coverage in OwatonnaPatient population includes neonate to geriatric age groupsDuties include adult, pediatric, stress, and transesophageal echocardiographyDaytime weekday shifts with varying start times between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.On-call required with 24-hour availability and 30-minute response timeWeekly schedule ranges from 30 to 40 hours per weekUse of Epic for charting is requiredPerform comprehensive and accurate echocardiographic studies using all standard modalitiesCollaborate with lead sonographers, echocardiographers, and other team members for interpretation and careSupport orientation and training for trainees and visitors in Cardiovascular ServicesDuties may include outreach services, weekend, evening, and holiday coverage as neededStrict adherence to sterile techniques and safety procedures is requiredMust tolerate frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and occasional overhead reaching and twistingGood verbal and written communication, visual acuity, and hearing at ordinary conversation levels are requiredCOVID vaccination and booster are requiredAssignment duration not to exceed one year; a 30–60 day break is required before returning for a new assignment
