Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Network Solutions Architect to join our team supporting the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Infrastructure Support I (ISS I) program. This is a hybrid role, primarily based at FDIC Headquarters in Arlington, VA. As a key player in our organization, you will provide root cause analysis, focus on continuous improvement, and lead the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of our enterprise network infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage and develop technical network solutions and frameworks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues effectively.
Upgrade network hardware and software to enhance performance.
Design, test, and evaluate network systems for optimal functionality.
Engage in network planning, modeling, and analytical processes.
Install and maintain essential hardware components, including cables, hubs, routers, and wireless adaptors.
Implement security countermeasures to address network vulnerabilities.
Analyze, engineer, and execute robust software functionalities.
Craft and deliver professional proposals and comprehensive design documentation.
Manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure top-tier service delivery.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field.
11+ years of experience in information technologies.
Expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex networks, including LANs, WANs, and cloud environments.
In-depth knowledge of network security protocols and best practices, with experience in firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
Strong understanding of computer operations and systems.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or CCENT are a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Advanced skills in recommending and implementing technical solutions for cross-functional projects.
Familiarity with systems and software engineering principles for optimal integration in software solution designs.
Comprehensive understanding of security standard methodologies.
Ability to devise innovative voice and video solutions.
Clearance Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
United States Citizenship is required.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
