American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level III trauma, acute care hospital, requiring ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT), and BLS certification.
Responsibilities Work in the CT department of a Level III trauma, acute care hospital with 286 staffed bedsCare provided for a patient population ranging from infants to geriatricsDuties include inpatient, ER, and scheduled interventional CT proceduresShifts are 4x10 hours, Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AMOn-call rotation is required among staff membersNo floating to other service lines or sister facilities is requiredProcedures include starting IVs, administering contrast, performing biopsies, and operating the PACS systemEpic EMR is used; experience preferredFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionAll employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)Teal top and black bottom scrubs are requiredNo parking cost at facilityPrevious permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a travelerLocals within a 60-mile radius will be considered on a case-by-case basis, typically at a lower rateAll requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with application and approval is based on facility needsMandatory completion of pre-start modules, averaging 4 hours
