$70,000.00 to Negotiable Annual Under the direction of a Manager or above, works to design, develop, support, and maintain the organization's collaboration and messaging infrastructure. Analyzes, develops, modifies, tests and maintains the collaboration and messaging system. Make updates to collaboration and messaging systems related installation documentation. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job Functions

Investigate alerts and follow established procedures to remediate conditions that do not follow approved policies and guidelines Test, develop, support, and deploy systems using Microsoft Office 365 messaging and collaboration services Test, develop, support, deploy, and configure new Microsoft Office 365 messaging and collaboration features Assists faculty, staff and students with messaging and collaborations service configurations to meet business requirements Develop, support, and deploy custom messaging and collaboration services solutions Coordinates software update services and patch management for messaging and collaboration services systems Works with vendors to coordinate support and warranty services Documents system engineering policies, procedures, and results of tests Maintains and create new system documentation Assists faculty, staff and students with technical questions related to managed systems Reads and interprets technical manuals Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions Works with diverse academic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of University students and staff Other duties as assigned Marginal Functions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills High quality customer service skills Must be a self-starter, driven, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with server operating system, virtualizations platforms, system utilities, automation tools, application security, management systems, and scripting languages Familiarity with Change Management process as it relates to cyberinfrastructure This position requires occasional verbal and/or written direction and can generally work independently. The supervisor shall ensure that the incumbent is aware of and adheres to state, board of trustees, university, and departmental policies. Moderate to high. The incumbent interacts with the public, including students, faculty, staff, and the outside public, such as vendors. The incumbent may be called upon to serve on intra- and inter- institutional groups and committees and may be called upon to deliver oral or written presentations, as directed by management. The incumbent shall recommend and implement policies and procedures necessary to effectively administer Microsoft Enterprise network services. This position will influence strategic technology decisions for the department and will participate in the prioritization and resource allocation necessary for successful project planning and implementation. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that systems design and operational procedures comply with federal, state, and university statues, guidelines, and policies on confidentiality of information. Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.
