Database Administrator

Join our team in support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract and contribute to empowering the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission. Your role will ensure positioning, navigation, and timing superiority by providing combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR. You will offer knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats. Responsibilities:

Develop protocols for data processing and handling in compliance with customer standards. Analyze database systems involved in the planning, designing, evaluating, and execution of JNWC functions. Monitor databases to ensure optimal storage and usability. Qualifications:

Required: An active interim Secret clearance with a pathway to obtain TS/SCI. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certification such as IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2, Microsoft SQL Server database certification, Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator, or industry equivalent. Experience with classified databases. Knowledge of DoD security regulations, policy, and procedures. Relevant experience commensurate with the position level, with a minimum of three years. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment. Desired: Additional certifications or advanced degrees in related fields. Experience in a similar role within the Department of Defense or related agencies. Proven track record of innovative solutions in data processing and database management. Extensive experience with multiple database systems and technologies. A culture of integrity.
