Senior Missile Defense Systems Analyst . This individual will define and evaluate Missile Defense System (MDS) capability trade space, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics. The role supports the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract for the Missile Defense Agency. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Scope, execute, and document MDS architecture trade studies as a member of the Architecture Design Team. Support the development of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and other systems engineering artifacts related to MDS. Develop alternative architecture concepts addressing capability gaps, threats, and intelligence estimates. Lead and coordinate architecture requirements, development, and analysis supporting Service and Combatant Commands (CCMD) needs. Develop and coordinate MDA vision and strategies, collaborating with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, CCMDs, Intel Community, other government agencies, national labs, industry, and international partners. Define trade study methodologies, measures, and deliverables in support of the Architecture Design Team. Prepare and deliver briefings on trade study efforts; review work products of team members. Coordinate future technology requirements across MDA, DoD, Joint Staff, Services, IC, and OGAs. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or a bachelors degree and 20+ years of relevant experience. Familiarity with DoD and MDA processes and procedures. Detailed knowledge of MDS, including Command and Control networks. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Navy veteran with experience as an Aegis Weapon System EDO or related roles; Army/Air Force veterans familiar with MDS elements such as THAAD, GMD, PATRIOT, Sentinel, LTAMDS. Deep technical understanding of MDS beyond typical system architecture. Skills & Abilities: Ability to work independently, in teams, or lead tasks with engineering rigor. Strong technical and engineering knowledge. Understanding of missile defense system components and missions. Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes. Ability to manage multiple organizations and leadership coordination in a high-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft applications. Willingness to travel 20-25% domestically and internationally. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
