Job DescriptionUltimate Staffing is seeking a Shipping Clerk/Material Handle r to join a client in Newark. This role can be a temp-to-hire position based on performance. Hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm for a total of 40 hours per week. Job Duties: Pack units for shipping, including boxing, crating, labeling, and preparing for carrier pick-up. Perform final inspection and touch-ups before shipment. Complete shipping checklists and ensure all documentation is accurate. Print and attach packing slips and relevant shipping documents. Accurately perform shipping transactions to maintain high inventory accuracy. Keep the shipping dock clean and organized. Coordinate with carriers to schedule timely pick-ups and deliveries. Receive RMA (Return Material Authorization) units and route them to production for repair. Assist in the main stockroom as needed. Perform other shipping office backup duties as required. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Stockroom Manager. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, especially in stockroom or shipping roles. Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred). Physical capability to repetitively lift packages weighing 20 to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends, as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
