Job Title: Deburring Technician: Minneapolis, MN : $20 to $22 per hourJob DescriptionAs a Deburring Technician, you will primarily be responsible for deburring aerospace and medical parts using hand tools, Scotch Brite pads, knives, and other smaller hand tools. You will work mostly with aluminum, as well as some exotic materials. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent on visual and cosmetic deburring, utilizing a microscope or magnifying glass.ResponsibilitiesDeburr aerospace and medical parts using various hand tools.Perform deburring on aluminum and exotic materials.Conduct visual and cosmetic deburring using a microscope or magnifying glass.Essential SkillsExperience with deburring and deburr techniques.Familiarity with medical device and aerospace assembly processes.Proficiency in using hand tools, blueprints, and performing sanding, buffing, and polishing.Ability to conduct microscope inspection.At least 6 months of hand dexterity work such as medical assembly or sewing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with deburring for over 6 months is a plus.Why Work Here?This opportunity provides a chance to grow into a trade within a smaller aerospace shop environment. The cleanliness of the shop is rated at 7.5 out of 10. The deburring station is set up at individual desks or stations for focused work.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
