Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years experience, CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) credentials, and recent Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based cardiology/echo departmentDay shifts of 10 hours, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating every other weekend schedulePerform echocardiograms (ECHO) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)Floating may be required based on clinical experienceEpic EMR is used and recent experience is strongly preferredPrimary duties include performing ECHOs and TEEs for cardiac diagnosticsMust be able to work rotating weekends as part of the scheduleHoliday time off requests will not be approved during contractLocal candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelersMen must be clean-shaven to pass required fit testingDress code or scrub requirements may apply according to facility policy
