Job Summary
Arizona State University and HonorHealth invite applications and nominations for the Academic ASU Division Chief of the Neurosciences Service Line for the newly established ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Engineering. ASU’s School of Medicine and Advanced Engineering resides under the broader ASU Health initiative, which aims to address health-related outcomes for citizens of Arizona while promoting innovative models of health education. Launching on the ASU Phoenix campus, the School of Medicine and Advanced Engineering will integrate clinical medicine, biomedical science, and engineering disciplines to train doctors who think holistically about healthcare solutions. The curriculum will focus on enabling doctors to take advantage of technological advancements while utilizing a public health approach to community care.

The Academic ASU Division Chief of the Neurosciences Service Line will lead the vision and overall strategy for the academic components of the HonorHealth Neurosciences Service Line, including but not limited to clinical education, academic program development, research, and innovation efforts.
Essential Functions
Provide visionary leadership for neuroscience service line academic programs fostering a culture of research and scholarly activities.
Oversee academic departmental budget, resources, and facilities to support teaching and research activities, including recruitment and development of talented faculty; oversight of UME and GME Neuroscience Service Line activities.
Engage in dialogue and maintain relationships with internal and external ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering partners.
Partner with HonorHealth and/or ASU Foundation for fundraising activities related to the ASU/HonorHealth Neuroscience goals and initiatives.
Develop academic strategy in alignment with HonorHealth neuroscience service line administrative leader and physician leader.
Perform other duties as assigned.
