Nuon Inc.
We're looking for a Customer Engineer to build the bridge between Nuon's product and the people who use it. This is a hands-on, highly technical role where you'll create integrations, applications, and reference implementations that demonstrate the power and flexibility of our platform. You'll be our first and most advanced user, helping us uncover edge cases, shape the developer experience, and anticipate customer needs.
You'll work closely with engineering, product, and customer success to ensure Nuon is intuitive, powerful, and ready for real-world deployments. If you're an engineer who loves building impactful tools and thrives at the intersection of product and customer experience, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Build integrations and small applications on top of Nuon's platform to validate and showcase its capabilities
Act as our first customer, stress-testing the platform and identifying gaps or friction points
Develop internal tools, examples, and starter kits that demonstrate best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer teams to improve the product
Write clear and concise documentation, guides, and technical blog posts
Engage directly with users to understand their needs and advocate for their experience
Requirements
Strong software engineering skills and experience building end-to-end applications
Comfortable building prototypes, debugging systems, and identifying edge cases
Passion for improving developer experience and empathizing with end users
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in conversation
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
Bonus: Experience working on dev tools, infrastructure, or cloud-native platforms
Familiarity with BYOC, self-hosted, or customer-managed deployment models
