This role is instrumental in providing high-quality cardiovascular ultrasound services, combining both echocardiography and vascular ultrasound techniques. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in both areas, including the capabilities to perform carotid artery duplex, venous and arterial studies, PVR/ABI tests, and abdominal aorta scans. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive vascular ultrasound studies including carotid artery duplex scans, venous and arterial evaluations, and abdominal aorta imaging.- Perform echocardiography studies to assist in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions.- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and accurate diagnostics.- Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards.- Participate in rotating weekend and holiday assignments as required. Qualifications: - Must hold an active registration in vascular ultrasound.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar healthcare setting, specifically with solid echocardiography skills.- Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment and EKG interpretation is preferred.- Current BLS certification.- Certifications from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) are required. Additional Information: - Applicants must submit all requests for time off (RTO) at the time of the application.- This position may involve floating to other facilities as needed.
